War-Level Preparations Underway for Prestigious Tournament

 Beed city is fully prepared to host the 61st Men’s and Women’s State Kho-Kho Championship and Selection Trials, scheduled from 18 to 21 December. Maharashtra Kho-Kho Association Secretary Dr. Chandrajit Jadhav informed that all arrangements are being made on a war footing to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the championship.


Four Playfields Prepared at Main Venue

The matches will be held at the Shrimant Yogi Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sports Complex, where four separate playfields are being readied to conduct multiple matches simultaneously. The grounds are being prepared as per prescribed standards, with proper layout and lighting, to provide players with an ideal competitive environment.


Spacious and Safe Spectator Gallery

A safe and spacious spectator gallery is being arranged for sports enthusiasts coming from across the state. A large turnout of spectators is expected during all four days of the championship, offering fans the opportunity to enjoy high-quality and thrilling Kho-Kho matches in a comfortable setting.


Food and Transport Arrangements in Place

Clean, nutritious and timely food arrangements are being made for players, coaches and officials. To ensure smooth movement within the city, proper transport planning, parking facilities and coordination teams have also been deployed.


Strong Organising Team Working Tirelessly

Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Awardee and mentor Prof. Janardan Shelke expressed confidence that the championship will not only help select the best players but will also showcase Beed’s sports management capability. Under the guidance of Prof. J. P. Shelke, the organising committee led by President Hrishikesh Shelke, Vice President Rameshbhau Shinde, Secretary Vijay Jaher, State Publicity Committee members Prof. Rajendra Barkase and Avishant Kumkar, along with a large team of dedicated volunteers, is working tirelessly to make the event a grand success.
